A wanko soba restaurant established in 1923.
Wanko soba is served in a small wooden bowl that is replenished by a personal server. If you can finish 100 bowls you will be certified a yokozuna, or grand champion. (You will receive a certificate and memento, and leave a message for posterity)
This restaurant was frequented by Kenji Miyazawa, who it is said liked to order tempura soba and lemonade.
