Kuji is the only area of Japan that produces Amber. At the Kuji Amber Museum, visitors can see documents and ornaments relating to amber and even insects suspended in amber. At the handicraft corner visitors can make their own accessories with amber.
The new building is a facility where visitors can see, touch, and experience amber. There is a capsule, which symbolizes amber, known as “sun stone” in Japan, where you can experience the charm of amber through the refraction of light, sound, and fragrance. There is also an amber laboratory where visitors can learn the mysterious qualities of amber by performing various experiments.
No photos in the facility.
