The Sannoiwa Rocks are composed of the 17-m Taikoiwa ( Taiko Drum Rock ) , the 50-m Otokoiwa ( Male Rock ) , and the 23-m Onnaiwa ( Female Rock ) . There is a sea cave in Otokoiwa, and it is said that if you go through the hole, you will be blessed with good luck. There is a promenade nearby, which leads you to the majestic figures of the rocks. You can also go on a tour of the nearby sights on a fishing boat, which leaves from the Port of Taro and takes you to Sannoiwa, Sawajiri Coast, Sagabe ( breeding ground of black-tailed gulls ) , etc. The small boat can closely approach rocks and cliffs for a dynamic view. *Reservation to be made at least 2 days in advance ( 0193-87-2891, Taro Furusato Products Center )
