Shinpei Goto

A politician from Mizusawa Ward, Oshu City. He was the director and medical principal of Aichi Prefectural Hospital, but entered government after treating Taisuke Itagaki. After serving as Director-General of Civil Affairs in the Taiwan Governor-General's Office, he became the first president of the Manchuria Railway Company and devoted his efforts to the development of Manchuria.

Kanegasaki Town Town Citizens Garden Park

The Food and Agriculture Experience Center is equipped with 60 plots of ``Townsman's Vegetable Garden,'' an agricultural processing experience room, a training room, etc., where ``food (consumers)'' and ``agriculture (producers)'' can interact. Specialized teaching staff will be stationed in the agricultural processing experience room and the townspeople's vegetable garden to provide usage and technical guidance. In addition, the Fureai Plaza has an arbor, a drinking fountain, benches shaped like vegetables, and an outdoor kitchen, which can be used as a place to relax.

Kunimiyama Abandoned Temple Ruins

The ruins of an ancient mountain temple that flourished about 1,200 years ago. The ``bronze dragon head'' and the foundation stones of the hall convey the image of the time when it was at its peak.

Restaurant Gen

Restaurant Gen is located in front of Chusonji Temple and Tsukimizaka. The popular ``Hiraizumi Mochi Gozen'' is a traditional hospitality dish that has been handed down in Hiraizumi since ancient times, and you can enjoy six types of mochi: red bean paste, ginger, zunda, spicy, white sesame, and zoni.

Ashitoyama Kagoiwa

This is a large rock located halfway up Murone Shrine. There is a space beneath this large rock where people can bend down, and it is said that the Confucian scholar Ashi Higashiyama, born in Shibumin, Daito Town, who loved Mt. Murone, holed up in this rock cave and meditated.

Oguro Falls

In a secret area reminiscent of a deep mountain valley, the white water flowing down overlapping large rocks, the surrounding trees, and flowers create a wonderful view of the beauty of each season.

Rokkaku Ushiyama

This mountain, which is one of the three Tono mountains along with Mt. Hayachine and Mt. Ishigami, often appears in the Tales of Tono. Altitude: 1,294.3m. Rokujinishi Shrine, located at the foot of the mountain, is said to have been built by Sakanoue Tamuramaro in the Daido era, and its inner shrine is located at the top of the mountain. Rokkakuushi Shrine is located near the Nukano-mae bus stop along the prefectural road heading towards Fuefuki Pass, and from there you can head to the trailhead. As you pass the 2nd station and are surrounded by oak and beech forests, the path becomes steeper, and from around the 6th station, you can enjoy the sight of Chinese plovers. Additionally, the inner shrine of Rokujinishi Shrine can be used as a shelter in case of bad weather. From the top, you can see the mountains of the Kami Mountains, including Mt. Hayachine and Mt. Goyo.

Ezuriko Tumulus Group

A group of ancient tombs built from the late 7th century to the early 8th century. There are approximately 120 round tombs with diameters of 6 to 15 meters, and many magatama beads, kiriko beads, warabi-te swords, straight swords, horse harnesses, etc. have been unearthed. Among them, the gold-layered glass beads are valuable excavated items of which there are only a few examples in Japan, leading to speculation that there was trade with the continent.
