On each side of a 2km walking trail through a cedar forest is the Michinoku Ajisai (Hydrangea) Garden, where 30,000 vividly colored Hydrangea (in about 300 different varieties) bloom. When the cool, clean air blows through the trees, you will feel you are forest bathing among flowers. The season is around a month-long, starting in late June. The provision of rest areas means you can enjoy nature here at your leisure.
