Six kilometers west from the Tohoku Expressway Ichinoseki interchange, this facility is right next to the Genbikei Gorge, a Place of Scenic Beauty and Natural Monument. You can enjoy the taste of fresh farm produce, local products and traditional cuisine. In addition to a market selling vegetables freshly picked on local farms, there are also traditional mochi ryori (rice cake dishes) and special soft-serve ice cream available. There is also a display including explanation of Ichinoseki’s mochi culture, and the facility also has a local information and meeting venue, and rest areas.
