Michi-no-Eki (roadside rest area) Lake Kinshuko is located at the outskirts of Nishi Waga-machi, about halfway between the cities of Kitakami and Yokote. The station has a shop stocked with specialty local products like suppon (turtle) soup, a restaurant where you can try famous offerings like maitake mushroom ramen and suppon ramen, and a park with sweeping views of Lake Kinshuko.
