Founded in 1954, this yakiniku and noodle restaurant served the original Morioka reimen noodle. The late Teruto Aoki added the spicy reimen flavors of his hometown, Hamhung in North Korea, to the fresh, non-spicy Pyongyang noodles, creating Morioka reimen. To retain the traditional flavors, the daily preparation has not been altered at all since the early days. The taste of rich soup made of 8 parts beef bones to 2 parts chicken bones with their own noodles is something special.
