Takamuro Suikoen recreates the beautiful natural enviroment that used to exist in Tono, with lodgings, cafeteria and artificial hot springs to promote health. Also offering to grill the fish you catch in the large pond, this is a facility that caters to body and soul. Other joys here are the traditional cuisine and dobukuro, or nigori (cloudy) sake, which is also served as a soft-serve ice cream flavor. Try the Genghis Khan barbecued lamb at Genghis Khan House, set amid the rustic Tono village of old.
