The three-tiered Fudo no Taki is one of Japan’s 100 Best Waterfalls. As you drive along National Road 282, you will see a large torii ( red shinto shrine gate ) in the middle of the rice fields. Go through the torii, and after about 4 km, you will come to a parking lot. The impressive 15-m Fudo no Taki is located behind Sakuramatsu Shrine; in the waterfall there is a stone statue of Fudomyoo or God of Fire. The white splashes and the roar of the waterfall cut through the serene air of the surrounding area. The red bridge in front of the waterfall accentuates the scenery when taking a picture.
